The search for missing Homer wife Marie Campbell is underway

Marie Campbell, a 62-year-old woman from Homer, Georgia, has been missing since Monday, January 6, 2025. Campbell was last seen on Bennett Road in Homer and works at TJ MAX in Cornelia. The Banks County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking the public's help in locating her.

When Campbell was last seen, she was wearing a dark plaid shirt, dark pants and dark shoes. She is described as having brown eyes and brown hair, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. Earlier in the day, she visited a family member at Northeast Georgia Medical Center before returning home. Her car, purse, ID and phone were left in her apartment.

Her daughter, Kayla Beth Campbell, expressed concern for her mother's safety. “She is still listed as a missing person. If you know my mother, you know she doesn’t go anywhere without an ID and a purse,” she said.

Campbell lived with her son, Jason Campbell. Neighbors have been actively searching for Campbell in the wooded areas surrounding her home, and the National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc. has issued an alert to assist in the search.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marie Campbell is urged to contact Investigator Alford at the Banks County Sheriff's Office. He can be reached at (706) 949-6668 or by email at [email protected]. In the event of an emergency, please call 911.

The Banks County Sheriff's Office appreciates any assistance from the public in bringing Marie Campbell home safely.
