The Winona County Sheriff’s Office issued a lacking individuals report

UPDATE — A Utica man reported missing by the Winona County Sheriff’s Office Friday has been located. Officials say he is safe and has been reunited with his family.

WINONA, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Winona County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

The sheriff’s office issued the alert for 65-year-old Thomas Mueller around 10:15 a.m. Friday. Mueller was last seen on County Road 18 in the Utica area on Wednesday, June 22. Authorities said Mueller is believed to be on his UTV, which was described as a 2019 or 2020 John Deere Gator 835. It has a fully enclosed cab with doors and a dump bed.

Mueller is described as a 5’8”, 170 lbs, white male with dark hair and a goatee.

He was last seen in off-white or gray shorts, a blue button-down short sleeve shirt and gray slip-on shoes. Authorities said he was probably wearing a ball cap.

The sheriff’s office said Mueller often travels in western Winona County or eastern Olmsted County. Residents in the area are asked to check fields and outbuildings for Mueller or the UTV.

Anyone who has seen Mueller or has any information is asked to call the Winona County Sheriff’s Office at 507-457-6368.
