Three Hagerstown ladies needed for crimes in custody battle

HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Authorities are investigating three women with ties to the Hagerstown area who are facing criminal charges in a custody case.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is seeking help from the public in finding Heather Jo Frost, Nancy Frost, and Abbey Frost.

According to the authorities, the women are accused of having fled with three children, withholding two of them from their fathers and ignoring a court order.

Heather Frost, 35, reportedly had the help of her mother, Nancy Frost, 59, and sister, Abbey Frost, 28, to evade law enforcement and hide the children.

As a result, arrest warrants were issued against the trio for disrupting custody. The count is a level 5 crime for Nancy and Abbey Frost and a level 6 crime for Heather Frost.

The sheriff’s department says the three women avoided arrest and refused to cooperate with the investigation. It warns that the refugees may have changed their looks and / or are using fake identities.

The three missing children include Trace, 8, brown hair and brown eyes; Lane, 3, blonde hair and brown eyes; and Emery, 3, light brown hair and brown eyes.

In addition to the custody charges, Abbey Frost has to help a criminal (a level 6 crime) and Heather Frost will not appear.
