MISSING: Benjamin Loera, 16 years old
JACKSON COUNTY, Texas – The Texas Rangers and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a missing person case involving a 16-year-old boy. Benjamin Loera was last seen on October 26, 2021. The authorities conduct many search warrants and interviews. Three people are charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.
“We are using all investigative tools and other measures to locate Loera, including using K9s that are trained to recognize people. Although he has not been found, investigators are continuing to investigate and continue until he is found, “the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office wrote on a social media post. “We understand and appreciate the community’s concern about Benjamin Loera’s whereabouts and the investigation. Please note, however, that we continuously investigate all information we receive. We understand that there are several rumors floating around, but we advance on the facts discovered and discredit the false information that is circulating. “
Investigators said it was a planned criminal episode and not an arbitrary act of violence.
