Sep 05 (THEWILL) – Controversial media personality Toke Makinwa has commented on her ex-husband Maje Ayida’s reaction after confessing to having a child with another woman when they were married.
THEWILL recalls that Makinwa and Ayida’s marriage broke up in 2015 when it became known that Maje was expecting a child from his concubine, Anita Solomon.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Toke said while remembering what happened the day the news broke that she was sleeping in the same bed with Maje when he told her what had happened.
According to her, singer Ice Prince called her around 2 a.m. to check on her when the news broke and at the time when she still didn’t know what was going on.
She said: “He even had the courage to order food from her cook while she complained about the sad development.
“When it broke on the blog, I was sleeping and Ice Prince called me at 2am to comfort me.
“My husband at the time was right next to me. Ice cream is like ‘are you okay?’. I thought ‘yes why’. He said I should sleep, but I should know that you have my back whatever happens. “
In response to his initial reaction after hearing the news, Toke stated that it initially denied it, but later confessed.

“He said it was a lie. It is not true and later he confessed.
“Immediately after his confession, he still had the courage to ask our cook to give him food, and he was still eating while I lay on the floor crying,” she added.
