TORI Spelling has felt “trapped” in her marriage to husband Dean McDermott after raising concerns about a possible divorce.
The 54-year-old Canadian actor reportedly threatened to sue his 15-year-old wife for alimony if she tried to leave him.

The longtime couple has been on the “verge of divorce” for months, surprised with friends around them that it did not happen years ago.
A source told Us Weekly that further tensions and threats between Tori and Dean could be the reason they officially broke up.
The insider said Beverly Hills alum, 90210, “is trying to get a divorce but she feels trapped right now.”
They added that Dean was recently “missing” for a few days after getting into an argument with his wife, and this only resulted in the two having an even bigger “fight” on his return.
The couple began arguing over a divorce, according to the outlet, when he threatened to sue Tori, who was open about her many financial troubles, for child support and alimony.
Tori and Dean, who have been married since 2006, share five children – Liam (14), Stella (13), Hattie (9), Finn (9) and Beau (4).
Despite Dean signing a marriage contract, the insider said Tori “went ballistic”, learned her husband could still sue for the money, and got “mad” at her lawyers.
Apart from the monetary aspect, the actress stayed in the marriage only “for the children”, even though she was “miserable”.
Although a split seemed long on the horizon, a source recently told The Sun that neither Tori nor Dean can afford to file for divorce now.
The insider said, “Tori and Dean are totally together right now. Neither of them can afford divorce proceedings.”
According to the source, the couple’s “five children” and many “pets” are a major cause of their money problems.
Despite all the anger and tension between the parents, they tried to put this aside to enjoy a recent family getaway to Disneyland.
While Tori looked like smiles in photos with her kids, pictures from the same trip The Sun received showed the actress and Dean, 54, while pushing their youngest son Beau in a stroller.
The couple, allegedly in the middle of a bad breakup, were spotted strolling through the amusement park while their other children followed on foot.
They were also seen at a nearby hotel.
Dean wore sunglasses all day and looked significantly less happy than his embattled wife in photos.
In addition to photos with her children, Tori shared snaps of other family members who were also at Disneyland when the family was there to celebrate their niece’s birthday in the park.
According to Toris posting, the trip was son Beau’s first visit to Disneyland.
Prior to the family fun, Tori was seen screaming on the phone outside her attorney’s office.
As reported for the first time on Page Six, photos from that moment showed her carrying a large notepad under her arm.
“Detention,” “Assistance,” and “Assets” were scrawled on the pad, providing clues as to what Tori’s meetings with her lawyers were about.
The fact that the actress is spending more and more time without her husband fuels speculation about the split.
