After months of speculation, it has now been confirmed that the series cheat partner of Khloé Kardashian has actually become unfaithful again.
Tristan Thompson publicly apologized to her on Monday after a court-ordered paternity test confirmed he had fathered a third child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols.
The 30-year-old professional basketball player apologized in a post on his Instagram stories.
The entry read: “Today, the paternity test results show that I had a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity is established, I look forward to amicable raising of our son.
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I have hurt or disappointed, both publicly and privately, during this ordeal.”
In a personal message to Kardashian, he added, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You do not deserve the grief and humiliation I have inflicted on you. You don’t deserve the way I’ve treated you all year.
“My actions certainly did not fit with my perspective on you. I have the greatest respect and love for you. No matter what you think. Again, I’m so incredibly sorry. “
Thompson had previously contested the paternity of the child who was born on December 1 last year. The baby was reportedly conceived when he rekindled his relationship with Kardashian, with whom he shares a three-year-old daughter, True.
Thompson and Kardashian previously split in 2018 after reports Thompson cheated on while Kardashian was pregnant. The couple split again in 2019 following Thompson’s cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods, but decided to try their relationship again in October 2020.
The paternity drama took up most of last year when Nichols tried to sue Thompson for child support and ordered the athlete to have a genetic test in July and then again in November.
According to court documents, Thompson admitted he spent time with Nichols as he celebrated his birthday last March. At the time, he was still dating Kardashian.
Following these recent allegations, the two finally split in June 2021, hopefully for the last time.
