MOSCOW, February 10 (RAPSI) – Russian High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova reported on Wednesday at the State Duma Family Committee meeting on a 40% reduction in the number of maintenance obligations.

Moskalkova believes that due to the adjustment of the legislative mechanisms, Russian citizens have taken on more responsibility for maintenance payments. She also drew attention to the work of the bailiffs in inducing unscrupulous parents to perform their duties.

The Ombudsman also noted that during the coronavirus quarantine, employers made progress, especially women with children under three.
