Is Lee Jing Lei (李靚蕾) facing up to 6 months in prison? According to their non-disclosure agreement, Wang Leehom (王力宏) had apparently filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife for allegedly breaking their custody agreement.
The Chinese news portal NetEase News had acquired the court documents submitted by the Canto-pop singer. The 11 pieces of evidence were presented to the New York Supreme Court. It has now emerged that Jing Lei has yet to present her evidence to the court.
Today Online reported that this is the third time Leehom’s attorneys have filed motions against her since February 19, 2021. While it’s unclear what caused the recent filing, we do know his legal team is dealing with custody disputes and is likely handling visitation arrangements over their 3 children – daughters Jiali, 7, Jiana, 5, and son Jiayao, 3.
Last Friday (February 11), Jing Lei said she was willing to discuss the visit arrangement with her former flame. However, she claims Leehom has:
She allegedly froze her bank accounts and the originally agreed use of property
Apparently he hesitates to pay the basic contribution to child support
Allegedly filed a new application asking Jing Lei to pay his legal fees
Apple Daily Taiwan received a tip from Leehom’s “friend,” stating, “He usually transfers cash to Jing Lei through an employee’s account.” Though the person claims the singer pays NTD910,000 (~RM136,700) every month, gives there is no concrete evidence of this money exchange.
When asked for comment, a friend of Jing Lei dismissed the statement. “Lee Jing Lei did not receive any money from Wang Leehom. Please stop talking nonsense. This man has already passed the rock bottom of human morality. If you really love your children, stick to the agreement and visit them. Stop spreading untrue rumors about your children’s mother through your so-called “friend”, “co-worker” or “networker”.
