Wendy Williams' guardian is demanding that her ex-husband repay $112,500 in child support

Wendy Williams' legal guardian has filed papers with the court demanding $112,500 in child support from her ex-husband Kevin Hunter.
The 59-year-old former talk show host was placed under conservatorship in early February 2022 when her bank intervened, claiming in a New York court that her behavior was “worrying.”
Her guardian Sabrina Morrissey has now claimed in court documents that Wendy's former partner Kevin – from whom the presenter divorced in 2020 after 21 years of marriage – was “overpaid” for three months and “unjustly enriched himself” through the star's bank account.
Sabrina added in documents obtained by Page Six that “The Wendy Williams Show” stopped payments to the former host in October 2021, but Kevin continued to receive payments until January 2022, which he confirmed.
She says in her filing: “I believe this was largely due to the payments being placed on an 'autopay' feature within her account.”
Sabrina added that the payments “violate the express terms” of Wendy and Kevin's settlement agreement, which stated that his payments would stop if his ex-wife's income fell to “less than twice her then annual income (as of January 1). February 2020)” would decrease.
The papers continue: “By holding onto the funds overpaid to him, he interfered with (Wendy's) ownership rights to those funds.”
Sabrina not only demands that Kevin pay back the six-figure amount, but she also demands that he pay back the interest on the money.
She has also asked the court to impose a news gag order on him to prevent him from speaking to the “press or others” about the matter.
Sabrina stated in the documents; “The potential harm to (Wendy) is great.
“Mr. Hunter and his agents have demonstrated a willingness to speak to the press about these issues.”
Wendy reacted violently to the guardianship and described her financial lack of freedom in the two-part documentary “Where is Wendy Williams?”
The Lifetime special also reveals Wendy's struggles with dementia and aphasia, which her son Kevin Hunter Jr. says stem from her years of drinking.
Sabrina has accused Lifetime's parent company, A and E Networks, of “humiliating” Wendy by filming her for the show “in an obviously disabled state.”
