A 35-YEAR-OLD Mudzi woman lost her tooth after her abusive husband stoned her month ago.
The matter came to light in the Mutoko District Court yesterday. Nectar Mushonga appeared before Magistrate Rumbidzai Mhandu.

Mushonga was sentenced to 14 months in prison, which was commuted to community service.
Prosecutor Richard Mbambe told the court that Mushonga came home late on April 25 to find his wife, Shelter Mushonga, asleep.
He woke her up and started accusing her of cheating, the husband drove his wife outside by attacking her with open hands, then he took a rock and hit her on the month.
Shelter lost one of her teeth in the attack and lodged a complaint with the police.
