Within the midst of the ache of her husband’s infidelity, she turned to the Lord for consolation

The Bible says we should love even our enemies how much more our spouses?

Author Arlene Adams shares her struggles and victories over 20 years of marital struggle in A Journal of GOD’s Intimate Love in Marriage to an Unfaithful Spouse ($ 28.49 Paperback, 9781662815591; $ 9.99, eBook, 9781662815607).

Adams’ husband was plagued by anger and sought refuge outside of his marriage, committing adultery. His problems affected her two sons and troubled her childhood. Instead of responding in the same way and divorcing him in vengeance, Adams chose to turn to the Lord. He showed her compassion for seeing her husband’s past abuse as the cause of his problems and the grace to forgive him. She recorded her journey with the Lord through this trial in journals, which she has now compiled in a book to serve as encouragement and inspiration to others.

“Many spouses are hurt because they had a bad childhood. We need to be patient and spend time with the Lord for them. The Bible says we should love even our enemies, how much more our spouses? ”Said Adams.
