WNBA’s Candace Parker pays $400,000 in alimony to divorce her NBA husband

How’s that to turn the tables… a former NBA Lottery winner receiving a huge $400,000 alimony check from him WNBA star woman?

That’s exactly what happened in between candace parker and Shelden Williams …according to court records obtained from TMZ Sports.

Candace – one of the biggest stars in WNBA history – married Williams in 2008, two years after he was drafted fifth overall in the 2006 NBA draft.

Despite the fact that Williams reportedly made more than $12 MILLION during his 6-year NBA career, Parker apparently did better…and agreed to shell out $400,000 in alimony. In return, she does not have to pay ongoing spousal support.

The couple also split the profits on their former home in Encino, CA, which they just sold for $3.75 million.

As for their 8-year-old daughter, the couple have agreed to share legal and physical custody – but neither party will pay child support. Instead, both agreed to equally fund her education and split any major costs associated with her care.

And that’s a wrap.
