Woman accused of beating Harris County Pct. 4 deputy cop in the face in custody dispute

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman was arrested and accused of punching a Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constable in the face as officers tried to defuse a dispute over a custody matter.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, officers responded to a custody disturbance in the 22000 block of Bridgestone Drive on Wednesday.

When they arrived, those involved in the disturbance were actively arguing and officers attempted to de-escalate the matter.

The constable’s office said a woman, identified as Michelle Stuart, 69, hit a police officer in the face with a clenched fist. She was arrested and then arrested.

Stuart was charged with assault on a police officer. Her bail and court information has not been determined at this time.
