Yewande Adekoya is asking followers to forgive her husband amid ‘infidelity, abuse’ claims

Yewande Adekoya, the Nollywood actress, has begged her fans to forgive Abiodun Thomas, her husband, amid claims he insulted and cheated on her.

On Monday, the 39-year-old actress spoke about the alleged breakdown of her marriage in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The ‘Kudi Klepto’ star said she kept the “truth” about her marital woes a secret to avoid outside interference.

“I know you all mean well by me, please stop dragging Daddy Precious online. In the name of God, if I didn’t have to debunk a false narrative that I’m being accused of regarding our issue, the truth of our current situation would still have been kept secret, as I wanted it to be,” she wrote in the Post.

“I beg you in the name of God, please, I don’t want to be responsible for anyone’s death.

“I know he made a lot of mistakes. Please kindly forgive him. All I wish for Abiodun Thomas is that he finally achieves the best version of himself in this life, whether he’s with me or not.

“He’s human and far from perfect. I am human too and I have my own flaws too.”

News of Adekoya’s marital crisis surfaced online barely a week after Nkechi Blessing, her colleague, opened about their relationship troubles in an Instagram Live session.

Blessing had accused her partner Opeyemi Falegan of being unemployed and living a superficial lifestyle.
