The upcoming movie Gehraiyaan follows a complicated relationship centered on infidelity. This isn’t the first time Bollywood has made a film with an infidelity theme. There were many more before Gehraiyaan. All of them, whether “Life In A Metro”, “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna”, “Rustom” or others, are based on extramarital affairs. When a Navy officer learns of his wife’s extramarital affair with a friend of his, he is devastated. When he kills his friend for having physical relationships with his wife, he ends up in prison. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna

Veteran actors Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan starred in filmmaker Yash Chopra’s romantic drama. The story revolved around an extramarital affair. The plot of “Silsala” revolved around a romance between Bachchan, a married man, and Chandni, a former love. The film became one of the most popular films of its time.
