If you’ve been keeping up with Season 9 of 90 Day Fiance, you know that once the 90-day process began, the honeymoon ended for the couple. As they try to make their relationship work, the pressure mounts as they quickly discover all the flaws in their relationships.
From Bilal’s shady pranks to Miona wanting to leave Jibri’s childhood home and Mohamed expecting Yve to nurse him, things haven’t gone smoothly. And that feeling certainly extends to Kara and Guillermo as well.

While Kara and Guillermo initially looked like they had potential, that may not be the case. While they both speak each other’s language and have lived together for a while, the 90-day trial could disrupt their harmony. The couple has faced many bumps in the road – from Kara mothering him and refusing to give him a laptop, to her uncle trying his best to intimidate him. And there’s also the problem of Kara drinking and they check each other’s phones. The latter appears to be an ongoing issue that could get worse, as seen in the preview.
In the episode preview, Guillermo and Kara attended their school reunion where they met their ex. While Kara dated him in high school, he was quick to offer Guillermo advice on how Kara can be a stubborn person and how she always gets her way. The real shock, however, came when he spoke about catching Kara cheating on him by kissing someone else while he was in college. Guillermo was stoic throughout the conversation, with said ex even going into detail about how Karas made him deeply distrust women indefinitely, even to this day. With his ex, he believes that the relationship will not last. He even told Guillermo that if there was ever a moment when he felt he couldn’t trust Kara, he should trust his gut instead of her.
