Country singer Morgan Wallen, who starred on The Voice in 2014, is no longer dating Paige Lorenze after allegedly cheating on other women.
Morgan Wallen, who competed The voice Season 6, broke up with Paige Lorenze after he allegedly cheated on her. The country singer, who was coached by Usher and Adam Levine before he was eliminated in the playoffs, has found massive success — and controversy — since appearing on the show in 2014. In May 2020, Morgan was arrested outside a Nashville bar owned by musician Kid Rock for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Months later, during a wave of COVID-19, Morgan was caught flouting mask and social distancing guidelines ahead of a scheduled appearance on Saturday Night Live. It wasn’t until February 2021 that Morgan came under intense public scrutiny when a video surfaced of him uttering a racial slur. Despite the intense backlash that followed, Morgan’s music sales have continued to rise.

In early February, news broke that Morgan was dating 24-year-old Paige Lorenze, a model previously linked to actor Armie Hammer. The couple reportedly became a couple a year ago and quietly saw each other in 2021. Family and friends close to the couple were aware of their relationship, but just in the last month, fans got a glimpse of Paige and Morgan together. For Paige’s birthday on Jan. 26, Morgan shared a shot of them partying with others before they were pictured at a party in Nashville days later. Paige self-confirmed the relationship on February 10; Writing “I love you!” on Instagram, the caption accompanied a photo of the two cuddling ahead of Morgan’s performance at Madison Square Garden in NYC; Morgan’s “The Dangerous Tour” kicked off on February 3rd.
Now, just weeks later, sources close to Page Six are reporting that Morgan and Paige have split due to alleged infidelity with Morgan. “She suspected he was cheating on her with several people,” says an insider after their relationship went public last month. After the couple confirmed they were dating, Paige reportedly received messages from women on Instagram claiming they’d also seen Morgan. The same source says that DMs from others “reached a point where it was just too much” to handle, raising major doubts about what left Paige “heartbroken as a father” for his 1st birthday -year-old son Indigo, whom he shares with ex-fiancé Katie “KT” Smith; Morgan and KT dated from 2016 to 2019.
While Paige didn’t directly address Morgan’s recent transgression, her Instagram page suggests that Morgan was indeed unfaithful. In a story published on Feb. 27, Paige re-shared a quote that was clearly aimed at her ex-partner: “One of the most underappreciated ingredients in living the good life is a clear mind. Knowing you’re not out here wronging people and hiding who you are lets you sleep soundly at night. Karma is real, energy is contagious.” On the same day, Paige announced that she had moved into a house in New York’s West Village without Morgan, who continues to live in Nashville. As for The Voice alum, Morgan seems to have approached the breakup in his own way. In an Instagram post, also uploaded yesterday, Morgan shared a photo of herself on stage with the cryptic caption, “Right where I need to be.” With The Dangerous Tour undoubtedly serving as a distraction from the breakup, Morgan’s next show is slated for March 3 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Morgan and Paige have yet to firmly confirm or deny the cheating allegations, but their social media accounts indicate they are no longer together. In fact, a quick search reveals that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. On the other hand, several coaches featured on The Voice remain in committed relationships; Married power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani first met on the show in 2014, while Ariana Grande married Dalton Gomez last May. The voice, now in season 22, scheduled to premiere sometime this year. Fans waiting for the program to return to NBC can’t only look forward to who the coaches are, but also to the featured singers. Most hope the network will avoid more controversial candidates like Morgan by spending more time screening potential candidates.
