Actress, Folorunsho Adeola, aka Arike Gold, has said there are many benefits to keeping one’s life out of the public eye.
In conversation with Sunday Scoop, she said, “The saying ‘a personal life is a happy life’ is definitely true. If what people know about you is limited, it will be difficult for them to spread a rumor about you or people close to you. I can’t stop people from gossiping about me. But a private life minimizes the drama. I don’t share details of my life on social media because I feel they should be kept private.”
Gold also said she doesn’t feel bad if rumors are spread about her. She added: “I’ve heard a lot of rumors about me. But I don’t feel bad about them because I haven’t done any of those things. There was a time when I was rumored to be dating a well-known musician. In fact, of all the people I’ve said I’ve dated, I don’t even have their phone numbers.”
When asked if she agrees that polygamy is a solution to infidelity, the actress said, “Yes, I agree. But that doesn’t mean that I will marry a married man. Most women only want their own children. Some of these ladies (who are not first wives) are comfortable and doing well; You’re not only lucky with men. So they end up having children for married men.”
