Insider dismisses infidelity as the explanation behind Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s rift

By now, most people in NFL circles are familiar with Tom Brady and his off-field troubles, which have dominated the media landscape for the past two to three months. The 45-year-old retired after last season, only to row back and sign for another season just 40 days later. The quarterback’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, was not pleased, to say the least.

So much so that the two have reportedly lived in separate houses. Brady even took an 11-day vacation during training camp to try and smooth things over with his wife, reportedly to no avail.

We now have some inside information from a source close to the couple who says the couple simply grew apart. A source spoke to pagesix.com and said there was no cheating on Brady’s part (which was seen as a reason for a possible split) and that the couple had grown apart.

The source said via pagesix.com:

“There is absolutely no fraud allegation on either side. Tom and Gisele have been struggling with making their marriage work lately and have drifted apart.”

Many alleged things have happened in the last few months. From the couple’s journey together to solve their problems to major fights that took place between the two. And even an alleged ultimatum Bundchen gave her husband cleared up a few stories for the inside source.

The source said:

“Gisele has no problem with Tom returning to football, she wants him to be happy and for him to play when he wants to. Tom was never given an ultimatum to choose between her and football. Their problems are more related to the distance that has developed between them over a period of time.”

Brady wouldn’t be a person (though sometimes we think he’s not) if his issues with his family didn’t affect his game on the field. Most of us believe that the 45-year-old’s difficult start to the NFL season was due in part to his off-field issues with his family.

Many think the quarterback could be in his own head. One example was the temper of the quarterback who bested the New Orleans Saints when he smashed a Microsoft Surface tablet.

True, there were rumors about a possible separation, which has not yet been realized. There is hope that both the quarterback’s problems on and off the field will be resolved sooner rather than later.
