Actress Christabel Egbenya has revealed why she won’t fight her husband’s mistress if she catches them in bed together.
The mother-of-one explained her reasons in a video recently shared on YouTube, in which she also said she would keep her marriage off social media.
According to Christabel, “Any friend who calls me to tell me she saw my husband in a hotel with his posh side wants to kill me. No! Don’t tell me, I don’t want to know. Even if you actually saw her, I don’t want to know. If I’m the one who caught them together, I won’t fight the girl in public. The person I have problems with is my husband. I’ll go home and wait for him to come back so we can settle it there. Because my husband already knows who I am. Why would I chase the girl or my husband when I know we live in the same house?”
Christabel Egbenya, who is also a film producer, added: “I love my life so much if something happens who would I leave my children for? I can’t gamble with my life just for a man, I can’t. If something happens to you, the man would just mourn you for a while and then move on to the next woman.
“Women should learn to love themselves and be content with themselves first. I will not trade for a man. I love myself so much, after me my child comes before my husband and not the other way around.”
Christabel is married to Mark Onumajulu.
