Charu Asopa accuses husband Rajeev Sen of infidelity, saying ‘I discovered one thing in his pocket…’

TV actress Charu Asopa has gone through a difficult phase in her life. Additionally, the actress regularly makes headlines due to her troubled marriage to actor Rajeev Sen. For the Unversed, Charu Asopa and Rajeev tied the knot in June 2019. The couple is blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Zianna, sen in November 2021. However, their marriage hit rock bottom and by June 2022, Charu had decided to separate from Rajeev.

Charu and Rajeev’s marital troubles have been in the news for quite some time. From time to time, the separated couple could be heard making allegations against each other. And now a new war of words between Charu and Rajeev has started as the former accused her husband of infidelity.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Charu Asopa spoke about her difficult marriage. Actress Mere Angne Mein took about the same, revealing that her husband Rajeev Sen cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter Zianna. Charu accused her husband of being unfaithful and mentioned that Rajeev would stay out of the house for hours. She even said that he would apologize if he stayed away from home and she used to believe everything Rajeev told her. Charu revealed that she once found something in his pocket through which she found out about his cheating. In her words:

“He would drive to his gym in Bandra in east Gorego early in the morning at 11am and would return home at night around 11pm, sometimes 7, 8 or 9pm. When I asked him why it takes him so many hours, he often said – ‘When I see traffic on the map, I have a coffee in Bandra cafes and wait for the traffic to slow down and then go home.’ I trusted that too. One time he just went to Delhi without saying anything and I was moving things here and there and I found something in his bag which is how I found out he was cheating on me.”

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Charu Asopa opened up about her failed marriage to her husband Rajeev Sen and revealed that she tried everything to save it. Charu mentioned that it was her second marriage, adding that she felt she and Rajeev weren’t made for each other. The actress even revealed that Rajeev even raised his hand against her. Elaborating on this, Charu had said:

“Nobody gets married with the intention of ending it. I didn’t want to regret my decision to cancel. So I tried everything to save it, also because this was my second marriage. Eat sab my mazaak toh mera hi bann raha tha but i was thinking ki kya pata shaadi chal jaaye yeh card card ab ye ek tamaasha bann chuka hai i think we are not made for each other… yeh shaadi kabhi work karegi nahi Rajeev is temperamental He abused me and even raised his hand once or twice.”

Earlier, Rajeev Sen had responded to the allegations made by her estranged wife, Charu, in an exclusive chat with BollywoodShaadis. For the layman, Charu claimed that Rajeev was temperamental and hit her twice. In response, Rajeev had mentioned:

“Instead of getting divorced and moving on with her life. My not-so-real wife lies about my abusive and physical treatment of her. Just like she never told me about her first failed marriage. May God have mercy on her and the entire Asopa family.”
