In conversation with Legit.ngsaid the movie star:
“My husband doesn’t have a social media account, well not all. He’s only on Facebook. People think that I was the one who got him off Instagram because of husband thieves, no I didn’t, oh. He’s not a social media person. In fact, I’m the one who brought it out. He is a quiet and reserved person. Very simple, calm and calculated. I’m not afraid of spousal thieves either. No woman can snatch my husband from me. I mean who is this? She carries 10 heads? I am a whole package and my husband is forever grateful. He’s the one who’s scared of losing me. I’ve had many suitors, people who were richer than my husband, but I chose my husband because he’s my best friend, playmate, gossip pal, and of course rich (who doesn’t like anything better).”

Alichi, who is happily married to serial entrepreneur Ugochukwu Mbah, also said she believes men are inherently polygamous, so many of them are unfaithful partners.
“I can’t leave my husband for infidelity. I had this orientation growing up that “all men cheat”, “men are inherently polygamous” and believe it or not most men cheat (there are good ones though and my husband is number one ). If you leave a cheating partner, what are the chances that the next person won’t cheat? But anyway, it depends on what happened and how,” she said.
The filmmaker, who commutes between Lagos and Asaba for films, explains what she does differently to maintain a happy home, despite the speed at which celebrity marriages are collapsing, which works for her.
She said:
“Maintaining a happy home starts with the person you married. I’ve known my husband for years because I’ve learned that sometimes love disappears in marriage, but friendship keeps the connection. Second, he supports my dream. Some of my colleagues stopped acting as soon as they got married, but my case is different. I became a producer after marriage and started my TV show because of him. So my husband is my best friend and he always wants to see me happy and vice versa. To me, this is how to maintain a happy marriage.

Okoye claimed Alichi kicked her off a movie set after she found out they were both working on the job together.
Okoye further explained that Alichi reacted this way because she didn’t post them on social media on her birthday.
