DeKalb Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person – Shaw Local
DeKALB – DeKalb Police are asking for the community’s help in finding a missing homeless man.
Law enforcement identified the missing person as 21-year-old Kyneate Thomas. Thomas stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds.

He was last seen Sept. 14 in downtown DeKalb wearing dark jeans, a dark hooded sweatshirt and carrying a blue and white backpack, police said.
Police Chief David Byrd said law enforcement remains optimistic about a positive outcome in this case.
“There is no reason to believe there was any foul play,” Byrd said.
