A TikTok user recently went viral when she shared how she became a widow. Bridget Davis’ husband, 36, died in 2018 after a long battle with bipolar disorder.

In the midst of her grief, Bridget, an American from Cincinnati, discovers that her husband of a decade, to whom she has been married, was having an extramarital affair.

“When your husband dies 10 years and you have to tell his loved one,” she said, a photographer. The couple had two children.

The video shows text messages exchanged between Bridget and her late husband’s lover.

“For…! I can’t believe it. I can’t, I’m crazy. I can’t do this again. He promised me,” the lover wrote when he found out about the death.

Then she asks the unknown woman if she may visit the grave. Bridget, who defines herself as “still single,” was blunt, “No.”

Netizens were divided over this report. Not many supported Bridget’s “no” to the “rival”.

One follower wrote: “What audacity.”

“Looks like you texted her just to be mean to her and not let her visit you. Be nice or move on,” said another.
