Nollywood Actress, Nkechi Blessing’s Marriage Crashes; Husband alleges infidelity, lesbianism

Controversial Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has joined the league of artists whose marriages have broken up.

Blessing joined the list when her marriage to Ekiti state politician Opeyemi Falegan collapsed.

Falegan confirmed their split and took to his Instagram Live social media page to announce the split between the duo.

Falegan said on the social media platform that he does not wish to be associated with Nkechi Blessing as he claims to be lesbian.

According to him, he is no longer her husband and wants to protect his name.

It’s worth remembering that their breakup saga began when a blogger “Gistlover” claimed that the actress slept with a man because of a courtship deal that her husband got wind of.

Falegan had said, “I don’t want to be known for any fame or anything controversial.

“I have a name, this name is my pride. I want to be known as someone who has created value for people and will continue to do work for people.

“I have a name that I am trying to protect here. Anything, man, from who? where did you see the husband

“I’m not a lesbian’s husband, respect my name.”

In response to Falegan’s statement and allegations, Blessing also took to her Instagram page to confirm the split from her husband and warned that anyone dating him should be ready to feed him.

She said, “The one I don’t like when you lie and say you’re leaving me. No one ever does… I just go for a walk and don’t tell my side of the story because it really isn’t worth it. Say anything you want to say but you see lies? We wear the same pants, well you’re teasing me,” she wrote.

Blessing is known for a number of industry controversies, primarily in the Yoruba genre, where she was recently suspended from the Theater Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, for alleged self-importance and misconduct.
