“As a result of the court’s intervention and advice, I have decided to forgive my wife and drop the case,” Ademola said.
The President of the Tribunal, Mr. Adeniyi KoledoyeIn coming to terms with the case, he advised the couple to keep the peace and continue to live in love and harmony.
“The court has received a corresponding letter of revocation, so the case is hereby deleted.
“I urged you both to go home and live in peace and love,” he said.
Nigeria’s News Agency (NAN) reports that the 45-year-old petitioner first informed the court that his wife, Rashidat, aged 14, was promiscuous.
“I’ve seen messages about her adulterous acts on her WhatsApp chats with her lovers. She meets with them in different places.
“She told one of the men that she was a single mother and was staying with her sister.
“I put all the chats on my cell phone as evidence.”
He also accused his wife of being lazy.
However, Rashidat denied all allegations but agreed to the dissolution of the marriage.
“I was never promiscuous. He’s the one involved in extramarital affairs. He brings women into our marriage home, ”she said.
The 40-year-old fashion designer accused her husband of turning it into a punching bag.
“My husband is a wife bully. My mother-in-law never liked me, ”she said.
Rashidat prayed in court that she would have custody of her children.
“The last time I saw my children, they all looked unkempt, they had skin diseases.
“Please give me custody so I can properly take care of her,” she said.
