Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger, aka rapper Toosii, is currently experiencing the downside of fame. The rapper has admitted to cheating on his girlfriend and the mother of his 5-month-old son and has blamed his infidelity on his fame.

Toosii admits cheating on his girlfriend

In a confession video released on Wednesday, Toosii said: “I’ve gone an entire year without dropping a project, struggling with issues with my mental health and just learning to be the best person I could be for the people who… I love and can be for myself.”

Rapper Love Cycle then went on to reveal that he cheated on his girlfriend Samaria, adding: “[I] I’ve stopped posting my relationship and broadcasting a relationship on the internet just because I make music. When you think of me, I want you all to think of the music. I just want to be an artist.”

Toosii even urged his fans to delete the few fansites that were based on him and Samaria, saying, “Even to the fansites that have the mashup of me and Shorty… I really wish you all would remove it.”

The rapper blamed his fame for his mental health issues

After the confession, Toosii continued his tirade on Instagram. He posted a lengthy note saying how his music career has negatively impacted him. He wrote on his Instagram story: “F**k this fame sh*t. you could have it This shit is lame. People love you, then they hate you. I should never have started rapping for you guys. I should have just kept my music to myself, like I did in the beginning, to deal with my problems.”

He also had a message for his son, writing: “And for my son, I love you man. I will not be like my father for my mother. I am in love [your] mom and her [knows] that. My intentions [are] pure, but the world [paints] This shitty picture about a shit like me [supposed] to be perfect.”

“It’s a relief to finally let people I’m not. I hope my son always [stands] business u [keeps] His head up because his daddy did it. Fuck the fame, I’m out,” he concluded by writing.

Toosii has now retired from social media

The rapper is now taking a social media break. Following his tirade, his team shared an update on his Instagram with an explanation. “Toosii will be off social media for a while. He wants his fans to know that he loves them and that he hopes you’re all still friends. He says he’s fine, he just wants to clear his head and everyone should take a break. He also released a surprise song,” the statement said.

Toosii released a number of tracks this year including Keeper, Love Is, Lonely and Heartache. Heartache’s official music video was released on YouTube last week.
