Reactions when Funke Akindele’s stepson accuses the actress and her husband of infidelity

The Nigerian Twitter space is furious following claims from Funke Akindele’s stepson Benito that his father, Abdulrasheed Bello, and the actress are cheating on each other and are in an open relationship.

Recently, Benito and his mother Mella have raised some allegations about the actress and her husband in several matters. However, in a recent Instagram Live video shared via Benito’s page on Friday, he revealed that the actress’ marriage to his father, JJC Skillz, is struggling.

Benito claimed his father cheated on Funke, which led to a big argument. He also revealed that the actress also cheated on his father.

“They’re not really together. They both cheat on each other and had a fight. My father practically lives somewhere else.

“I don’t even care about her anymore. I can no longer speak for them as a couple. I can only say what I saw. They are in an open relationship,” Benito claimed. (sic)

His revelation has led to some tweeps voicing their opinions on the situation as the actress is currently trending at number 9 on Nigerian Twitter.

A Twitter user by the name of @Theifedayo wrote, while adding his two cents: “This crap Funke Akindele’s stepson is doing on Instagram is one of the reasons I would never support anyone in my family doing one like that Man to marry has children and an ex-wife.”

In a Twitter thread, microblogging site user Sir David Onyemaizu with the handle @SirDavidBent stated that he feels the actress is being attacked mainly for her discipline.

“People have always complained about how Funke Akindele treats their employees. It’s always easy for people to grumble and throw tantrums when a boss is too disciplined. Funke seems very disciplined to me. Maybe it’s going a little too far,” the Twitter user said.

Also, @Tee_Classiquem1 simply asked if there was a gang against the actress who she believes has been using her platform to uplift rising stars.

The Twitter user wrote: “Why does everyone Funke accuse Akindele of mistreating their workers? I mean, I’ve seen her use her platform to spotlight the likes of Toyo Baby, Kiki, James, Adaku, Timini, and more. Is this some form of gang against her or is there really something she doesn’t know? ”
