Renny Harlin is in talks to direct Skiptrace, an action-adventure film with Jackie Chan And Old William Scott and is produced by China's Talent International Film Co. and Dasym Entertainment.
Exclusive Media was previously behind the film, but since its dissolution, parent company Investment Strategies BV has shifted it to subsidiary Dasym.
The newly founded sales company Bloom under the leadership of the former Exclusive manager Alex Walton as well as Ken KaoThe film is now playing in Cannes.

Harlin replaced Sam Fellwho directed the animated film Paranorman and was set to make his live-action debut in the English-language action comedy.
The story is based on an idea by Chan and revolves around a good police officer (Chan) whose niece (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with a crime syndicate run by a man the detective has been tracking for a decade. The cop is forced to track down the only person who can help save the niece – a fast-talking American gambler (Scott) – and bring him to Hong Kong.

Production is scheduled to begin in August.
Talent International and Dasym Entertainment will produce alongside Chan, Esmond Ren, Charlie Coker, Damien Saccani And David Gerson.
Harlin is the director of action films such as “Die Hard 2,” “Long Kiss Goodbye” and this year's “Legend of Hercules,” in which he starred Kellan Lutz. He is represented by UTA.
