Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo is back in the music industry.
The singer, who took a break from the industry following his infidelity, has returned.
On January 25, Nigerians woke up to the news that their favorite gospel singer had cheated on his wife, Ozioma Okposo.
This came as a shock to many because of his “Christ-like” reputation.
Sammie suspended himself and canceled all of his events to focus on recovery.
The singer didn’t live up to his word as barely a month later he released a new song.
The new song, titled “Comot Body,” was written and produced by the singer.
There are also other gospel artists like Mike Abdul and Bidemi Olaoba.
“It’s official, who’s ready? Sammie Okposo feat @mikeabdulnaija @bidemiolaoba”.
This isn’t the singer’s first return to the music world.
Kemi Filani reported that the singer will perform at the upcoming Tope Alabi concert.
Gospel singer Tope Alabi shrugged off the criticism that has dogged her colleague Sammie Okposo’s cheating scandal. On her Instagram page, Tope Alabi shared a program poster by Sammie Okposo, in which he assured that he would still serve at the Praise The Almighty concert.
Tope Alabi’s recent post contradicts the public statement made by Sammie Okposo, who said he will resign from all public office until he settles the recent scandal with God.
Tope Alabi wrote: Countdown to the praise of Almighty 2022. Ready to receive from Him.
