Teyana Taylor debunks false rumors she’s been cheated on and using drugs in an Instagram post.
A TikTok user went on to describe an unnamed singer with two daughters and a husband who was on “Dancing With the Stars.” Fans and others immediately thought of Taylor as her husband Iman Shumpert was on the show last year.

The user then goes on to say that the singer found out her husband was cheating on her and she was found on the bathroom floor after eating too much “candy”. In November 2021, Taylor was hospitalized and forced to cancel her show due to exhaustion and let her fans know on Instagram.
After the TikTok story went viral, Taylor responded to the rumors in the same Instagram post.
“The person who sent in this CAP TikTok story is a fool,” Taylor said. “The person who ‘acted out’ this CAP story is a fool (they’d better have their court coin ready), but the people who believed the CAP story are the biggest fools, smh,” she wrote. “You guys are allowing a YT girl to pull some s— like these during Black History Month???
“NOBODY, and I mean absolutely NOBODY, CAN MAKE A PETUNIA OVERDOSE ON A PROMO. “I would kill @imanshumpert well, put him in a fancy suit and bury him my damn self before I ever got him or anyone to pressure me into doing drugs or turning me off.”
Taylor wasn’t finished with her response, and on February 28, she went on to call out the rumors against her and her family in a Shaderoom post.
“You all know I’m out of the way and mind my business,” Taylor said in the Post. “But I will ABSOLUTELY defend myself and take the TIME to address a rumor like this. Posting my personal home and likeness in the background of a video spreading FALSE and dangerous rumors about my family and I is almost like saying our names LOUD AND CLEAR. So, whether I bring it up or not, it’s d– if you do, d– if you don’t do it so f– but never play with my family.”
