Suspicious circumstances, missing persons investigation

November 26, 2023 – Officials with the Madera County Sheriff's Office report that they are seeking the community's help in locating a missing, endangered adult, 19-year-old Melanie Stephanie Rios Camacho of Firebaugh.

Melanie was last seen at her work Auto Zone on Gateway Dr on November 24, 2023 at approximately 10:15 p.m. seen in Madera. She was wearing a gray Auto Zone shirt, possibly with a black Nike zip-up sweater over it, and black pants. Melanie did not report to work this morning and has not been seen or contacted by her family.

She is 1.90 meters tall and weighs 65 kilograms, has brown eyes, brown hair and braces. Melanie is driving a white 2014 Nissan Altima that was abandoned and burned on November 25 in the area of ​​Avenue 14 and Road 8 in Madera County.
