The person’s shock on the delivery of the child reveals the girl’s infidelity

When * Mark took his wife’s hand and encouraged her to keep breathing, he felt like he was living his best life.

Although the American had been by Anna’s side when her three daughters were born, something felt different during this time.

That was because Mark’s dream of having a son was finally coming true after 36 long years.

At least he thought …

“As soon as the baby was born, it was clear I wasn’t the father. He was clearly a different ethnicity to Anna and me,” wrote Mark on social media.

“I was absolutely shocked, not only that the child I was expecting so badly wasn’t mine – but also that Anna had been unfaithful.”

Up until this point, Mark, heartbreakingly, had never thought that Anna would do anything to betray their relationship.

The couple were incredibly close, describing themselves as best friends who shared similar values, interests, and hobbies – while raising families.

When Anna unexpectedly became pregnant earlier this year, Mark never knew for a second that something was wrong.

“It was a bit of a surprise as she had decided to only have three children (I always wanted more),” explained Mark.

“She was on birth control too and I’ve always wore a condom since our youngest was born, but I loved it.”

Mark was deeply broken to discover that not only was he not the birth father of his long-awaited son, but that his beloved wife had betrayed him.

Apparently Anna had met a man in a bar and got really drunk with him.

They had unprotected sex and also exchanged phone numbers, presumably to meet again – but Anna discovered she was pregnant before anything else could happen.

“When he heard the news that he blocked her and changed the numbers, she only knows his first name, which makes it pretty difficult to find out who he is,” said Mark.

“She tried to downplay and said that it didn’t mean anything, that she had made a mistake and that she wanted us to raise ‘our’ boys together – but I couldn’t stay with her.”

But when Mark was preparing to leave Anna, another wrench in the form of Anna’s parents was thrown into the works.

As a background, Mark and his in-laws have never really seen eye to eye; and only tolerated each other for Anna’s sake.

So imagine his surprise when they offered to pay for the divorce attorneys – and transfer Anna’s sizeable trust fund to her daughters and testify against her own daughter so Mark can get custody.

“They threatened to cut her off and deny her several times when they realized she wasn’t going to give up on her boy – they did – they cut her off.”

After his in-laws offered their support, Mark felt incredibly at odds about what to do.

Although he knows how his in-laws want to treat their daughter, he’s not exactly fair, but he doesn’t know what else to do.

“My daughters will get a lot out of this money (we’re talking about the middle eight numbers), it will likely lead them to a full life without debt (college, home, even their future children),” he said.

“Also, I’ve put Anna first all my life, I’ve put her job first, I put my name on for her (it was the only way her parents would ‘accept’ our marriage).

“I am genuinely hateful of this whole situation (it cheats and makes me think her boy was mine).

“I’m usually very calm and collected and before I do anything my first instinct is to accept your help and watch your parents break it bit by bit. So should I do it?”
