Karan Mehra’s spouse Nisha Rawal needs son Kavish Mehra sole custody denied little one help

New Delhi: Earlier this year, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Karan Mehra was arrested by police after his wife Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him, allegedly accusing him of taking her money and beating her. However, the day after his arrest, the TV actor was granted bail. Since then, Karan and his wife Nisha have often made the headlines.

Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra have been living apart since this incident and their son Kavish Mehra is with his mother. Nisha also celebrated her son’s birthday and left no stone unturned to make her little munchkin happy. At the time of her son’s birthday, Karan also claimed he brought gifts for his son and shared their pictures on social media. But according to Nisha Rawal, the gifts never reached Kavish. While giving an interview to Times Of India, Nisha Rawal gave details of their divorce and also revealed that Karan Mehra hadn’t even called her son after his birthday.

Nisha Rawal revealed during her interaction with the publication that she doesn’t want any child support payments from Karan, she just wants sole custody of her son. She also revealed that it would allow Karan to meet his son regularly, but the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor doesn’t agree.

Nisha Rawal told the Bombay Times: “I don’t want child support payments. What will he give me that I haven’t given him? We built everything together. I started making money from a very young age and have been supporting him throughout, even before he became a part of Yeh Rishta. I put in so much work and whoever worked with me will vouch that Karan was responsible for the commercials.”

She went on to reveal: “He only called the actor’s friend’s number once on Kavish’s birthday (June 18) to wish him something. He posted a picture of gifts he ordered for Kavish on his birthday. I want to know why these gifts never reached our son. Let me tell you that he hasn’t called Kavish once since his birthday.”

On a related note, Nisha Rawal also accused Karan Mehra of having an extramarital affair.
