In the eleventh episode of Koffee With Karan, Season 7, handsome hunk Varun Dhawan and the man who doesn’t seem to have aged in the last 20 years, Anil Kapoor, sat on the coffee couch. The two actors spilled beans about their competitive Bollywood careers and, of course, their married life, and made the episode hot. Needless to say, Karan loves to let the A-list celebrities talk about their romantic relationships on his show, which is what makes Koffee With Karan so iconic among his fans.
This time, Karan Johar made a hesitant Varun confess that he was in an “on and off” relationship before marrying his current wife, Natasha Dalal. The director-host also got him talking about infidelity in relationships, and Varun’s reaction to that is unmistakable. For the record, Varun had married Natasha Dalal, whom he describes as his childhood sweetheart. After much courting, the fashion designer finally admitted to Varun’s proposal and was tied to him on January 24, 2021.

In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Karan Johar revealed that although Varun Dhawan is now married to his school friend Natasha Dalal, he had previously developed the image of the ‘boy in town’. Varun tried his best to deflect the topic of discussion and said, “But I’m married now.” But Karan, who is a curious self, continued to question Varun more about his life after marriage. The actor then said:
“It was amazing. It’s the best thing that’s happened to me in my life. She’s the balancing factor in my life, and she doesn’t even ask for much. She doesn’t ask for much. She just wants my time. She’s gorgeous.”
Karan shares a warm bond with Varun and he even introduced the actor to Bollywood with the hit film Student Of The Year. Additionally, Karan Johar, who has a lot of inside information due to his open relationship with B-Town actors, shared in the conversation that Varun was in an “on and off” relationship with Natasha. Although the actor claims Natasha was his childhood sweetheart, Karan stated that Varun had dated many girls during his relationship with his now-wife Natasha. When Karan asked Johar about infidelity, Varun said he did not endorse it. However, the director claimed:
“You’ve been back and forth in your relationship dynamic with Natasha before, and of course you were a boy in town, and that’s the way it should be. I don’t know how to put it any other way… You had quite a few interactions with a lot of girls before you decided to cement your relationship and get married and well done.”

Earlier, Varun revealed in an interview with India Today that he never wanted to get married as a child. He also mentioned a trait about Natasha that intimidated him into marrying her so soon. Varun could be quoted as saying:
“As a kid, I never thought I would actually get married. I never thought I would be the kind of person that gets married and does stuff like that. But then Natasha came into my life and she just got this musty, snug feeling that it felt like someone put a pillow on your head, kuch bhi ho jaye, you’re safe. don’t worry i got you So, for me, that is marriage.”
