Hyderabad: A security guard is said to have murdered his wife at a lodge in Afzal Gunj on Saturday night because he suspected her fidelity.
Suspected killer Patlavath Ramakrishna, 31, is a security guard and caterer living in Gachibowli, originally from Amangal. He has two wives.
On Saturday, he came to the Manikanta Lodge hotel at CBS Gowliguda with his second wife, Pathlavath Aruna, 21, and took room #202.
“Ramakrishna suspects his wife is having an illicit affair with his brother Santosh. He took Aruna to a shelter and murdered her by strangulation,” police said.
The perpetrator went to the police station and surrendered. After learning of the murder, they went to the lodge and took the body to the morgue. A case has been booked.
