Aliya Siddiqui, the actor’s ex-wife Nawazuddin Siddiqui, was eliminated from the house of Bigg Boss OTT 2. In a recent exclusive interview with an entertainment portal, she opened up about the financial aspects of her divorce. The couple’s divorce has been the subject of public attention for some time and they have previously blamed each other over their relationship and finances.

Earlier this year, Nawazuddin Siddiqui claimed Aaliya abandoned her children and used them to extort money from him. In response, Aaliya published her bank statements online to refute these claims. However, there was speculation that financial matters between the ex-couple were settled after Aaliya retracted her statement.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Aaliya Siddiqui clarified that wasn’t the case and explained that she didn’t take any money from Nawazuddin. In fact, she had written to him stating that he could take whatever he wanted from her as she wanted no financial support from him except for the house together, which she felt was necessary for her own life.

Aaliya explained that she would sell her share of the house to meet her obligations and repay her debts to the people she owes money to. She stressed that owning a home or not was the deciding factor in her viability as she was able to stand on her own two feet.

Aaliya further clarified that the financial exchange between her and Nawazuddin was court ordered. She had not taken any additional money from him and the payments he had made were in accordance with the court’s orders. These monthly payments were court ordered and she had received no additional funds from him.
