Joe Jonas posted a cryptic mirror message on his Instagram Story, a day after he and Sophie Turner reportedly reached a custody agreement for their two young daughters.

After a four-day mediation that began last week, the estranged couple reportedly agreed to a temporary agreement on Wednesday (October 11) that would last for the rest of the year, according to court documents obtained by Page Six and TMZ.

Their children, three-year-old Willa and a one-year-old, will live with the 27-year-old Game of Thrones star from October 9th to 21st, before being handed over to 34-year-old Jonas on October 21st stay there until November 2nd.

Custody will continue to transfer between the two until January 7, 2024. The holidays will also be split up, as Jonas will have the girls for Thanksgiving and then they will spend Christmas with their mother.

On Thursday (October 12), the singer posted a backstage photo of himself looking at his reflection in the mirror before the Jonas Brothers concert at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, asking, “What should they feel?” ?” printed at the top.

“I’m in the right place at the right time doing the right thing,” reads an additional message written on the mirror in red lipstick.

Jonas is currently on tour with his brothers Kevin and Nick. His post comes shortly after Turner posted a similarly cryptic, Taylor-Swift-inspired message in her first social media post since announcing her divorce from the pop singer.

In her Instagram post on Sunday (October 8), the actress shared a zoomed-in photo of a beaded friendship bracelet on her wrist, emblazoned with the title of Swift’s second album, “Fearless.”

Turner’s “Fearless” bracelet could be a nod to the new chapter in her life, referencing Swift’s lyrics in the title song about jumping into something “head first, fearless.”

However, the “Fearless” bracelet could also be interpreted by fans as a mild dig at Jonas. Tracks on the re-recorded version of Swift’s album, released in 2021, included a bonus song from the pop artist’s Vault titled “Mr Perfectly Fine,” which is rumored to be about Jonas.

During the custody proceedings, Swift reportedly allowed Turner and her two daughters to use her New York City apartment. “Taylor has opened her home to Sophie,” a source told People on September 28. “Sophie is welcome there at any time. Taylor continues to be a great friend.”

The tentative agreement came less than a week after Turner sued her estranged husband to bring their daughters back to England. A petition filed Sept. 21 in the Southern District of New York alleged that the former couple’s daughters were wrongfully detained in New York City from “their usual place of residence” in the United Kingdom.

On September 1, Jonas finally filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in Miami Dade County, Florida. According to court documents, Turner learned about the divorce filing through the media when it was reported on Sept. 5.

While the former couple have temporarily agreed to have their children stay in New York, they have not agreed on where the divorce proceedings will take place. Jonas wants her case to be heard in the United States, while Turner wants the case to take place in England, where her two daughters will live, Page Six reported.

Jonas and Turner officially announced their divorce in a joint statement on September 6, telling fans that they had “mutually decided to end their marriage amicably.”
