Wendy Williams' ex-husband Kevin Hunter is now demanding back child support, saying his lifestyle has been affected
Wendy Williams' ex-husband Kevin Hunter demands two years of back maintenance payments.
The previous “Wendy Show” The producer recently filed court documents demanding that the money be paid to him. Williams paid her ex monthly maintenance after their divorce in January 2020. Hunter famously used some of it to buy a house in Florida with his ex-girlfriend. Sharina Hudson. However, once Williams was placed under financial guardianship 2022her Wells Fargo Accounts were frozen and payments to Hunter stopped.
Hunter claims he tried to resolve the matter out of court through mediation, but was forced to take the matter to a judge. The situation appears to be dire for Hunter as he has been struggling financially since the payments stopped.
“I rely on the severance pay to support myself and going without that income for 23 months has affected me greatly,” his court documents state.
Hunter was forced to sell the Florida property October 2023 for $1.25 million when he lost the battle to regain his livelihood. Williams, who suffers from dementia, has limited access to the money herself. So if Hunter were to be granted the back pay, it would have to be awarded by a court, even though he had previously been told there was no money left to give. For this reason, Hunter also requested bank statements as part of his case. He claims he was promised the documents by the financial watchdog but was never provided with them, and he has no way of knowing for sure whether Williams is truly broke.
