New text messages from Hunter Biden show him complaining to his uncle that he “can’t pay for child support, food or gas without Dad”: The money is “all gone”

New text messages have revealed Hunter Biden telling his uncle James in December 2018 that he had run out of money and needed his father's help.

The now first son told James Biden in text messages revealed by IRS whistleblower documents that he was broke and unable to pay child support.

In the December 29, 2018, messages, he wrote: “I can work when I'm in NYC, all day, every day, 8am-12pm, for the next three months. But I can't pay child support, tuition, food, or gas without daddy.”

“It's really all gone. I'm sure I can make it up to you in 15/20 days, but he's basically made it clear he's not paying child support because mom has made it clear she's not going to.”

Hunter, 53, also talks about moving to his father's mansion in Delaware after his relationship with his sister-in-law and later lover Hallie Biden fell apart.

The text continues: “Hallie won't allow me to be in the house and she won't lend me money or pay me back.”

“Ashley is moving into my mom's house after I told my dad I was moving in.”

“That night I told Dad that I probably wanted to stay in the area and, in particular, that I wanted to live with you and teach my course at Penn and maybe develop another one.”

In response, James Biden said: “This can work, you need a safe haven. I can work with you alone, Father!!

“As always, we just need a few months of his help to make this work. Let's talk about it. It makes perfect sense to me. It's hard to fully test it without talking about it.”

“Please call me at w/a. We can work out a plan together. This can work. I'll try to call you again, please. Ans.”

The exchange was revealed in a series of documents released by the House Budget Committee earlier this week.

The text exchange confuses claims Hunter made to his daughter Naomi in January 2019 in which he claimed he gave her father half his salary.

This came just days after financial records obtained by Congress showed that Chinese companies transferred $250,000 to Joe Biden's private residence in 2019.

The payments were made in two electronic transfers to Hunter Biden, who listed his father's home in Wilmington, Delaware as his own address.

The revelation marked a stunning escalation in the investigation into whether Joe Biden benefited from Hunter's business dealings in countries like China and Ukraine.

James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, obtained bank records through a subpoena showing that Hunter received payments from Beijing in 2019 while his father was a private citizen.

The records show that the beneficiary’s address was Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, at 1209 Barley Mill Rd.

Hunter is said to have lived there for two years after his divorce from his first wife Kathleen Buhle in 2017.

The first transfer on July 26, 2019 for $100,000 came from a certain Ms. Wang Xin, who is listed on the website of the Beijing-based investment company BHR Partners.

The second message allegedly came from Jonathan Li, the Chinese national whom Hunter allegedly threatened via WhatsApp while Joe was in the room.

“I'm sitting here waiting for my dad to call,” Hunter told Li in messages revealed by an IRS whistleblower.

Comer, who is investigating the Biden family and its foreign business dealings, requested financial records from a specific bank account linked to Hunter.

The revelation came just two weeks after Hunter was charged with three counts of lying about his crack cocaine addiction when purchasing a gun.

Hunter must appear in court after a Delaware grand jury indicted him on three counts, including two counts of making false statements on his gun forms and one count of possessing a gun while addicted to drugs.

It is a devastating blow for President Joe Biden, who has stood by his son and is running for re-election in 2024.

Hunter allegedly lied on a firearms report (see above) required for his gun purchase. A photo of the form shows him answering “no” when asked if he was “an illicit user or addicted to marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic or other controlled substance.”

The move by special counsel Davis Weiss represents a significant escalation in his ongoing investigations into the president's son for weapons and tax offenses.

Republicans claim that Hunter is guilty of other crimes and that Weiss's indictment, which only relates to the weapons offenses, is not sufficient.

The maximum prison sentence would be 25 years total if convicted on all counts, although federal sentences are typically less than the maximum. Hunter could also be fined up to $250,000 and placed on probation for three years.

According to the indictment, Hunter lied about his drug use when purchasing a gun in 2018.

The First Son purchased a .38 caliber Colt Cobra pistol in Delaware, a state where every buyer must answer a series of questions before they can get their hands on a gun.

An application from 2018 asks whether the applicant takes drugs or is addicted to drugs. The box is clearly marked “no”.

Hunter admitted that he was addicted to crack cocaine at the time he purchased the gun.

A video was discovered on Hunter's laptop showing him naked and holding a gun in a hotel room in 2018, allegedly five days after he purchased the weapon.

About two weeks later, his lover and brother's widow, Hallie Biden, found it “unlocked” in his truck and threw it in a grocery store trash can. The discovery sparked a police investigation.

In addition, in the voicemail left on Hunter's abandoned laptop on October 15 – three days after Hunter bought the gun and lied about his drug addiction – now-President Biden sounded close to tears and begged him to get help.

“It's dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the world, buddy,” Joe said in the Oct. 15 message. “You need help. I know you don't know what to do, and neither do I.”

Earlier this summer, after a five-year investigation, the president's son reached an agreement that would have allowed him to avoid trial for the weapons offense if he had complied with the terms of his probation for 24 months.

Republicans in Washington complained that the president’s son had negotiated a “favor deal” to protect President Biden.

However, the deal failed spectacularly in court in July, resulting in new charges against Hunter.

The failure of Hunter Biden's original confession also brought further problems for his father, Joe Biden. The president now faces more headlines and questions surrounding his drug-addicted son's case in the 2024 election campaign.

The White House and the President himself stressed that he was never involved in Hunter's business dealings.
