Actress Doris Simeon talks about a grueling custody battle with her ex-husband Daniel Ademinokan

Fiery Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon, has opened up about her grueling custody battle with her ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan, who is also a film producer.

The light-skinned mother of one who opened an interview with Biola Bayo on “Talk to B” said that her former husband took her son away from her when he was just 4 years old.

Doris further explained that she did not mind when Daniel Ademinokan later remarried but the only pain she feels is not being allowed to mother her child.

She said; “Maybe it was my fault, he had his fault too. That's why I said that I didn't feel anything when they got married, but the only thing was that he didn't allow me to mother my child. That's the only painful part.

He took my son without my consent, he was just 4 years old when he came to the US. He was 3 years old the last time I mothered my child. I called but he didn't pick up and when he picked up he told me he would call me back as he was busy and I wouldn't be able to get through for another 3 to 4 months.

I was frustrated and depressed but I can never show that because I knew the family I come from because my parents told us to be strong no matter what you go through in life. I was just at a movie premiere and someone told me I wasn't there to see my son. That’s how they took us to court.”
