Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in ‘Gehraiyaan’, which explores complex relationships, betrayal and infidelity. In a recent interview, DP opened up about her taking on a partner who is cheating on her. The actress stated that it is a deal-breaker for her.
“It’s a deal-breaker for me. Though I feel like it’s far more complicated than just giving a straightforward answer like ‘Oh it’s a deal-breaker for me’, I think there are so many factors that come into play. Like ‘how much does that relationship mean to you,’ ‘how much are both people willing to work at it,’ ‘was it a mistake’, ‘is it a habit’, I think there’s just so many things that come into play . People make mistakes. A lot of times people make the choices that they do for various reasons,” Deepika had said.
Deepika cheats on her partner in ‘Gehraiyaan’. However, director Shakun Batra had shared that the characters in this film don’t cheat under the garb of finding true love. He had said, affairs can happen because you find someone who helps you find yourself.
