Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have agreed to a temporary arrangement that will allow their two daughters to split their time between them until early 2024.
“After a productive and successful placement, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in the United States and the United Kingdom,” Jonas and Turner said in a joint statement obtained by CNN. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”
This agreement comes weeks after the Game of Thrones actress sued the Jonas Brothers singer for “wrongfully” keeping her daughters – three-year-old Willa and 15-month-old Delphine – away from their “habitual residence in England.” has.
From October 9th to 21st, the children will stay with 27-year-old Turner and can travel through the USA and England. On October 21st they will return to Jonas, who is 34, and will be with him until November 2nd, with similar travel permits. The children will then return to Turner from November 2nd to November 22nd. After that, they’ll be back with Jonas until December 16th and then spend the holidays with Turner until January 7th, according to legal documents obtained by People Magazine.
The children had to remain in New York until this decision was made.
Both Jonas and Turner must file a status report before December 23 to determine future agreements.
The couple married in 2019 and Jonas filed for divorce from Turner last month.
