The Archangel association (German “Erzenengel”) has published the comic / manga “Erzengel” in cooperation with his board member Michael Langhans and the two illustrators Jonah_prac and Salamaca. “We want modern and easy -to -understand information on custody,” says board member and copywriter Michael Langhans. He continues: “Because fundamental rights are always affected, an error often has devastating consequences.”

“Of course it is not easy to condense complex problems on a DIN A4 page,” says the fully qualified lawyer, “but we have accepted the challenge and have been very satisfied so far. At the moment we are collecting more ideas because we are not nearly over.”
Currently, the comics are limited to one page per topic, which is very important for the association. “Less is more, we want to protect the children and parents above all, which can only be achieved with a simple presentation.” However, in order not to remain inaccurate, all comics sources, references and decisions as well as explanations are given. “Our comics should give the problem and apply the appetite for more knowledge. We also take the position that is often not recognized by dishes and legal advisors. Many children do not know what they can and can do.”
This is particularly evident in Hesse, a state that has already anchored the best interests and the will of the child in his constitution. Nevertheless, it always happens that Guardians ad litem do not contact their “children” for years and are therefore unable to enforce their will.
“We would like to make sure that children are better informed and more child-friendly. This strengthens basic and human rights and ultimately makes decisions more transparent.
A thematic sorting of comics for children, parents, lawyers or complex questions such as expert opinions, children's hearings, children's drafts, etc. is planned and will then also be available in printed form.
The first four comics will be published online and free of charge in March. The two follow “the right to say nothing” and “hand over without bailiffs and order” are already online and further consequences will follow on Saturdays.
The comics are also published in German and English, whereby other languages are planned according to interest.
