March 01 (THEWILL) – Sketch creator Promise Kelvin Anagbogu, aka Lord Lamba, has filed a child custody lawsuit, raising tensions between him and his baby mama Mercy Atang, a former housemate on the reality show ” Big Brother Naija,” aggravated.
Atang had taken to her Instagram page on Thursday to share the news of her engagement. Shortly after revealing photos from their engagement, Lord Lamba posted pictures of himself along with their one-year-old daughter.
After the initial announcement, images of the lawsuit appeared online.
The February 16 petition, addressed to the Lagos State Family Court in Ikeja, criticized Mercy for leaving her daughter, Princess Khellah Kelvin Anagbogu, in the care of other people while she left for the United Kingdom on January 29, 2024 traveled to get engaged.
The document also states that despite his consistent financial support for Mercy and her daughter's welfare, Lord Lamba was denied access to the child.
Lord Lamba claimed in the petition that Queen had blocked all his phone numbers and could only reach her through a new number which was later blocked.
Lord Lamba said it was in the best interests of the child to be in his care so that he could have a decent upbringing and good care.
