Lukashenko agrees to changes to the agreement with Russia on judicial alimony collection

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 385 approving the draft Protocol amending the Agreement between Belarus and Russia on the procedure for mutual enforcement of court judgments in cases of alimony recovery dated March 3, 2015 as a basis for negotiations . BelTA said this, citing the presidential press service.

This international document provides for the possibility of sending enforcement documents from debtors and enforcement authorities to the authorized body of the other Party if there is information about the debtor's employment.

It also provides for the further execution of the executive document received by the authorized body in the event of a change in the organization or other person paying income to the debtor.

The Ministry of Justice has the authority to conduct negotiations and sign a protocol if an agreement is reached within the framework of the approved project.
