Poonam Pandey’s husband Sam Bombay hits again on the allegations she made and opens up about infidelity

Model and actress Poonam Pandey has taken part in the controversial reality show Lock Upp, hosted by Indian actress Kangana Ranaut. The show aired on February 27, 2022 and has been making headlines ever since. On the show, Poonam has spoken out about her estranged husband, Sam Bombay, saying that he used to beat her up, causing her to suffer a brain hemorrhage.

For the Unsavvy, Poonam Pandey got engaged to longtime boyfriend Sam Bombay in July 2020. And it was in September 2020 that the duo tied the knot. Unfortunately, within days of their marriage, Poonam had filed a complaint against her husband Sam for molesting her during their honeymoon in Goa. Now Sam Bombay spoke about it in a recent interview and shared his side of the story.

Poonam Pandey is in the spotlight for opening up about her tumultuous marriage on Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. She claimed that her estranged husband, Sam Bombay, had a drinking problem and he “kept hitting” her. In an interview with ETimes, Sam responded to Poonam’s allegations and explained his side of the story. He said:

“To this day I haven’t spoken out about what happened to me in 4 years. This is the first time I’ve spoken out. The attack comes in a variety of forms. And several men suffer from it and eventually, a man will snap Whatever happened between us, I wasn’t the one who initiated it.

Sam added that the allegations his wife Poonam made against him were unnecessary, adding that it was he who was abused throughout the relationship. Talking about the same, he said:

“Whatever Poonam says is sad, unnecessary and useless. She makes news out of thin air because she loves being on the news. I have been abused throughout my relationship. But 90 percent of my relationship she bombarded me with love; I’ve never felt so loved in my life. So when I say I was in an abusive relationship, I ignore that.”

Sam claimed that both are madly in love with each other but would not reconcile because they both have their own egos. He also said that if she came back, he was ready to wholeheartedly welcome Poonam back into his life. Sharing his wife’s lack of loyalty, Sam added:

“She’s my wife. Maybe she didn’t take the seed of Phera seriously, but like I said, I have her. Whenever she comes back to me, my heart will be open. But there’s a problem. My wife has all the qualities except loyalty. Well, until I understand that.”

Further in the interview, Sam said he’s been in a relationship with celebs taller than Poonam, but no one has ever accused him of abuse. However, he added that his wife Poonam has a pattern of cheating on people. Speaking about the importance of loyalty in a relationship, Sam added:

“Without loyalty there is no trust and there is no honesty, and then there is failure. Good guys don’t make it. You must be a bad boy. That’s how you survive. Has she ever complained that I’m cheating on someone? Had several relationships with celebrities larger than Poonam. Has anyone accused me of the assault? Never. Has Poonam been accused of assault by other men? Yes. So there is a pattern here. And the police told me I had no idea about that.”

On the professional front, Poonam Pandey is currently on Kangana Ranaut’s controversial reality show Lock Upp!
