Protect Evelyn and her son from custody fraud

I have known my brave friend Evelyn for eight years. She is a fantastic mother in a very serious and dangerous situation. She is fighting for her custody, the well-being and safety of her child and – as of this weekend – her freedom.

When her son's father violated their marriage contract through abuse, abandoned their baby shortly after his birth, cut off all contact with her, and failed to respond to any of her faithful efforts to keep him informed of his child's well-being, she cared for her Child alone, as a single mother.

Since she saw no signs of interest in her child's welfare over time, she eventually assumed that she would never hear from the father again. She built a loving home for her son and gave him a safe and peaceful life. She began to leave years of heartache behind her.

Recently, the father of her child gained custody without notice or warning through shocking misrepresentations in court. By claiming that he had no way of contacting Evelyn, he obtained a judgment while she was not given the opportunity to protect her child or defend herself. The father of her child used this decision to obtain state benefits by falsely claiming that he had had the child in his care continuously for years. When he was discovered inside, he suddenly developed an interest in the child. Days ago he filed a criminal complaint against Evelyn for child abduction. My dear sister and friend is no longer free this evening. Your situation is very scary and very bleak.

She needs all of our love and prayers. Your son is with someone he doesn't know and who hasn't made any effort to see, care for or care for him since he was a child. Please have mercy on our beloved friend and her beloved son. Evelyn has plenty of documentation and a compelling case, but she urgently needs legal help to regain her freedom and protect her child from harm.

Please share this fundraiser. Put it in front of as many loving eyes as possible. If you can donate, even if it's $5, please do. Please don't leave Evelyn alone. Accompany them in any way you can. It would mean the world to her – and her boy.

Thank you very much!
