Shakira can declare authorized struggle on Gerard Pique’s member of the family after successful custody of kids

Shakira and Gerard Pique’s split saga is still not over. The celebrity couple split in June this year after dating for 12 years. Although Shakira won the custody agreement in court, there could still be another legal battle between the two. This time, however, Shakira is up against Gerard Pique’s father, Joan Pique.

After their split, Pique and Shakira have fallen out over numerous legal battles over their property rights, ownership of their luxury private jet and so on. However, the Colombian songwriter won the custody battle against Pique. The couple’s children, Sasha and Milan, will continue to live with Shakira in Miami, but Pique will be able to visit his children.

Shakira has severed ties with Pique’s father

Following their split, Shakira reportedly cut ties with Pique’s father, Joan Pique. She was reported to have had a close relationship with her in-laws, particularly her mother-in-law at the Montserrat Bernabeu. However, after the couple’s split, she distanced herself from the former FC Barcelona star’s family.

During an interview, Joan Pique and Montserrat Bernabeu said: “He needs to be calm to work out his problems with Shakira” about their son’s split.

Why could Shakira get into a legal battle with Pique’s father?

Reportedly, Shakira may have to face a legal battle with Joan Pique. It is understood that she helped Joan secure various sponsorship deals. It is part of Joan Pique’s Kerad Holding company. Although not directly involved in the business administration of the company, she has helped Kerad Holding achieve its status through various investments.

The waka-waka singer has also helped Gerard Pique’s company Kosmos. She has helped Kosmos secure multi-million dollar sponsorship deals with companies like Spotify. Pique’s company Kosmos is a partner of the Davis Cup, a tennis tournament. Shakira performed at the Davis Cup closing ceremony.

It’s been reported that the Grammy-winning singer no longer wants to be associated with Pique or her former father-in-law’s business in any way. However, it is not yet known if she is trying to claim monetary compensation from her father-in-law. However, the Colombian singer definitely wants to settle all her legal matters related to her controversial divorce as soon as possible.
